Lie. is a five-piece rock band from Holland, Michigan, built on the energy of friends making music together and seeing where it takes them. What started at the local Park Theatre Open Mic in the Summer of 2023 has grown into something bigger than the sum of its parts. The music is loud and alive, leaning into rough edges instead of sanding them down. Some songs hit hard with riffs and energy, while others pull back into something more vulnerable.

It’s less about fitting into a single genre and more about capturing the highs and lows of being young, restless, and trying to make sense of the world. Lie.'s music, written and sung by all members of the band, aims to meet the needs of all devoted and well listened Rock fans. Carefully composed dual guitar lines, group harmonies, and keyboard parts brings every song alive.

Every set is a little different, built on spontaneity, crowd energy, and a sense that everyone in the room is part of the same moment. Meanwhile, each detail of their studio work is arranged and tweaked, reflecting the passion and creativity of the band as well as their vast influences. This has earned the band comparisons to both genre defying and defining artists:

At the end of the day, Lie. isn’t chasing polish or perfection. The name might suggest otherwise, but the band is about honesty: making noise, having fun, and creating something worth remembering with the people around them.
